"Diving off Guadalupe Island, Pacific Ocean, Mexico, a Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio carpio) swims peacefully in its aquatic habitat, unaware of the underwater drama unfolding nearby. Meanwhile, a Vulnerable Rondeletii (Xiphias gladius), also known as a Swordfish, glides through the depths, its elongated bill slicing through the water. Suddenly, a Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) emerges, its powerful jaws open wide, ready to strike. The Swordfish, a favorite prey of the Great White, darts away, leaving the shark disappointed.
