Their first A&M single, 'God Save The Queen, ' will be released at the end of this month. Today, The Sex Pistols had a mod contract signing outside Buckingham Palace and a Press Conference later. The Press Conference was incredibly boring, only relieved by the group attempting to put a bottle of Scotch over hard-working photographers. This iconic print captures the rebellious spirit and controversial nature of one of punk rock's most influential bands in history – The Sex Pistols. On that fateful day in London on March 10th, 1977, they stood defiantly against societal norms and expectations. Led by frontman John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten), along with Paul Cook, Steve Jones, and Sid Vicious, The Sex Pistols were notorious for their raw energy and provocative lyrics that challenged authority at every turn. Despite facing setbacks from record labels like EMI Records who dropped them after their television appearance caused an uproar, The Sex Pistols refused to be silenced.
